I am a writer and photographer specializing in outdoor, travel, action, and historical subjects. Specific outdoor areas of interest include hiking, running, backpacking, and motorcycling. Historical interests include Oklahoma and southwestern United States history. Since 2016, I have been retracing and exploring the Indian Territory segment of the Butterfield Overland Mail in present-day southeastern Oklahoma. My scenic photography is the source of artwork for the following Oklahoma state lodges: Sequoyah, Robbers Cave, Beavers Bend, Quartz Mountain, and Lake Murray. My photographs are often published in support of my own writing or that of my husband, Bill Dragoo, as well as independently in such places as Oklahoma Today magazine.
