I found this lone sunflower at the end of the trail on top of a mesa at Gloss Mountains State Park at sunrise. It was doing what sunflowers do and facing directly east into the sun.

Beautiful, the fibers on the stalk and back of the flower look like they are glowing. 🙂
Thanks, Carolyn! In post processing, I increased the brightness and contrast to the extreme and then oversharpened it to get this effect.
